The hotel has some lovely grounds, and the location is charming, making it a pleasant spot to visit. However, the rooms are in dire need of renovations and cleaning, which made our stay quite disappointing. The lack of dining options nearby was also a significant inconvenience, especially since the pub was closed most nights. Overall, while the area is beautiful, I wouldn't choose to stay here again due to the many issues we encountered.
